What’s up? I’m Kayla!

I’m passionate about creating powerful visual designs through storytelling. I use freelance design as a way to flex my creative muscles outside of my full-time job as the Design Manager at the University of Florida College of Education. I’ve used my newfound love of stained glass design to begin selling some of my work as a local artist!

I moved to Gainesville, Florida in 2008 to attend UF and fell in love with the city. Since then I met my husband and we settled down into life with our children, Elliot and Matilda (Tilly).

Here are a few things about me:

• I’m a double gator! (B.S. Advertising in 2011, M.S. Management in 2021)
• My husband and I also own Earth Pets Natural Pet Market!
• I enjoy gardening, exercising, crocheting and illustration in my free time.
• I’ve recently started trying to learn the science of mycology! So far I’ve harvested wild black trumpet, honey and chanterelle mushrooms.
